“Mate this joint is off its head! The missus and I froth TMFS Hotel, and we’ve been coming here for beers years, we didn’t realise you could actually stay here. Let me tell you, the dinner menu for hotel guests is absolutely to die for. Three courses of heaven, the cocktail bar and the dining area is absolutely wonderful. The staff here are extremely hospitable, helpful in every way and the caliber of live music in the front bar is second to none. Always got the footy on the projector and the vibes are always riding high. We will not do the snow season without doing a stint at the Man from Snowy ever again. PS the Hot Rockies are to die for here mate!”
“The room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is not very good designed. One thing that confuses me is that the room has four ceiling lights all near the centre of the room but the far corner where really needs to light up doesn’t have one. The full breakfast is fantastic. You can order your choice of omelette or make your own pancake. The sitting area has the stunning snowy mountain view. If you have your dinner around 7pm Saturday you would have the fireworks right in front of you.”
“Great space for food and drinks. Honestly similar price to a pub back home. Much better value that what you get on the mountain. They also do fireworks over ground valley if you're there on a Friday night.”
“What a cracker of a long weekend! First time visit and definitely chose the best place to stay! So close to everything. Rooms warm and cosy. Music festival was on and Fleetwood Max were brilliant! We’re not skiers but there’s a ton to do to stay occupied. Restaurant wasn’t open but the pub food menu was great! Opening day of a new resort is always a challenge but the team at the Man pulled it together on the weekend. Great place to stay and we will be back again! Thanks Management and team at the Man for a great long weekend!”
“We stayed at The Man from the Snowy River. Booking was fairly smooth. The accommodation service was different level amazing. Everyone was incredibly lovely and welcoming! It's obviously an older property but we really loved staying here. Lots of thoughtful touches and the common areas were really nicely decorated/set up. We came before the start of the season so good options were from the pub, it was quite good. The breakfast was lovely and a good spread. The view was very nice too!”
“Came for a meal after a days skiing. Had a rump steak, mash, veg. It was excellent! Decent cut of beef, cooked exactly as ordered,. And actually very fairly priced (unlike most other things in ski areas). All the usual pub classic meals can be found here.”
